Quality Management

Concurrent Technologies Corporation's (CTC's) commitment to quality is exemplified by its early participation in the national and international standards-setting organizations and its subsequent ISO 9001 (Quality) and 14001 (Environmental) certifications. CTC was the first nonprofit research and development organization to simultaneously certify to both the ISO 9001 and 14001 international standards, achieving this distinction in 1998. All CTC locations conform to the requirements of these international management system standards.

ISO certification provides clients with ongoing assurance of conformance with client requirements, including a commitment to continual improvement in the quality of products/services and in exceeding our clients' expectations. Continued certification since 1998 demonstrates CTC's commitment to the ISO principles and the continual improvement of the quality of service to customers. In recognition of our own program successes, CTC has been contracted to support the Joint U.S. Navy, Army and Air Force Services' quality programs through consulting, training and assessment services to Department of Defense (DoD) installations and organizations.

Continuous Improvement

CTC continuously strives to improve our processes and eliminate waste wherever possible. With support from all levels of Management, CTC's Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Health & Safety Management System (EMS) help identify opportunities for improvement in our programs and supporting processes, both internally and for our customers as well. The end result is a robust quality system, which provides clients with ongoing assurance of conformance with their requirements and a commitment to continual improvement in the quality of products/services provided to them. Continued ISO certification since 1998 demonstrates CTC's commitment to quality and to its customers. The standard requires management "to ensure that customers' requirements are determined and are met with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction." CTC's contract review, proposal submission, and project management planning processes are all designed to clearly define the customer requirements.
